The beef roast is accompanied by onion, garlic, carrots and mushrooms, as well as beef broth and peppercorns. The peppercorns are to give flavor and they also look good stuck on to the meat.

Ingredients -
5 or 6 lbs roast
1 can beef broth
1 onion, sliced
1 package mushrooms, sliced
2 cloves garlic, sliced
Olive oil
10 baby carrots
20 white peppercorns
Salt, to taste
Preparation:
Sear the roast in olive oil on all sides and put everything in the crockpot.
Cook for 8 to 10 hours on low.
