Moist Crockpot Chicken Marsala Recipe with a Creamy Mushroom Sauce

This recipe combines the fresh, clean flavor of chicken breasts with marsala and mushrooms for a gourmet crockpot chicken marsala recipe, which tastes divine. This is a great looking dish as well as a wonderfully flavored one. Perhaps you have not made such a chicken dish before or not used all the following ingredients in your boneless chicken recipes but this recipe works very well and everyone is sure to love the delicate yet exciting final flavor.

Most chicken marsala recipes are made on the stove but using a slow cooker just ensures the chicken comes out really moist and the sauce is full flavored. Also, the slow cooking allows the wine sauce to seep into the chicken flesh, giving it an aromatic and wonderful flavor. Another perk of slow cooking is that the recipe is ready to serve whenever you are ready to serve it. The chicken should take about six hours to cook but if it is in there for seven hours it will still taste great.

Serve this chicken marsala recipe with broccoli and carrots, as well as potatoes or rice, for a classic and tasty dish. Alternatively, you can serve French fries or mashed potatoes with it instead. This is a sweet, sticky and wonderful recipe and you might well agree that the crockpot variation of this classic recipe is just as good as, or even better than, the original chicken marsala recipe.
