Ingredients -
4 bone-in chicken breast halves
4 bone-in chicken legs
½ cup chicken broth
1 teaspoon paprika
1 tablespoon olive oil
1 tablespoon lemon juice
½ teaspoon each dried basil, dried thyme, season salt, garlic powder, browning sauce and black pepper
1 chopped red bell pepper
4 peeled, chopped potatoes
Preparation:
Combine the basil, thyme, salt, garlic, browning sauce, black pepper, paprika, lemon juice and olive oil and rub this mixture over the chicken breast halves.
Transfer them to a 5 quart slow cooker with the chicken broth, red bell pepper, and potatoes.
Cover and cook for 5 hours or until a meat thermometer reads 170 degrees F.
