Easy Crockpot Chicken with Salad Dressing
This is a very easy crockpot recipe and there are only three ingredients. Feel free to use whichever salad dressing you like. Perhaps you thought salad dressing recipes were only for making salad but salad dressing actually gives a really nice flavor to crockpot chicken recipes, as well as keeping the chicken moist and tender. You can pour the leftover salad dressing from the rub into the slow cooker over the chicken for some extra sauce and seasoning.
Serve this delicious crockpot chicken with rice, potatoes, noodles or anything else you fancy. It is nice with a fresh salad and perhaps some wedges of lemon or lime to squeeze over the top. Chicken in the Slow Cooker with Salad Dressing
Ingredients -
1 small fryer chicken without giblets
¼ teaspoon black pepper
2 cups salad dressing
Preparation:
Rub the salad dressing over the chicken and sprinkle the pepper over the top.
Put it in the crockpot, cover it and cook for 7 hours on low or until the chicken is tender and cooked through.
