Ingredients -
1 can kidney beans, drained and rinsed
1 can chopped tomatoes
½ teaspoon cloves
¼ teaspoon cinnamon
¼ teaspoon nutmeg
1 onion, diced
3 cloves garlic, crushed
Flesh of ½ a coconut, finely grated
Salt
Black pepper or cayenne pepper
1 cup cooked rice
Preparation:
Combine everything well in the slow cooker and cook for 7 hours on low. Stir in the rice and cook for about one more hour. Serve when everything is tender and piping hot.
